On March 8, local time, the Sudanese non-governmental organization “Sudan Doctors Network” issued a statement saying that the capital of North Kordofan State in western Sudan, Obeid, was attacked by missiles that day, killing 5 civilians and injuring 4 others.

The statement accused the Sudanese Rapid Support Force of launching the attack, saying that the armed forces deliberately attacked residential areas and civilian facilities, causing civilian casualties. The Rapid Support Force did not respond to this.
